Despite local panic, it spared Barbuda, St. Martin and Anguilla, all of which had been ravaged by Hurricane Irma.

Hurricane Jose is now expected to make a full and complete circle, ultimately redirecting its movement toward the west and closer to the USA east coast.

As of 5 a.m. ET, Jose had winds of 75 miles per hour, making it a Category 1 storm.

The hurricane center's forecast shows Jose reintensifying into a hurricane by early Thursday and turning more to the west, a track that could bring it within a few hundred miles of the Bahamas by the weekend.

Remains of the storm could also push the jetstream further north dragging better weather to the British Isles, but the forecast is still questionable.

Irma, which had rampaged through the Caribbean as one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes on record, was downgraded to a tropical depression on Monday. "But then eventually move westward late this week and then more northward this weekend".

Child Rights Association President P Achyuta Rao said the girl's father approached him with the complaint on Sunday. DEOs said that as per the regulations of the Children's Rights Act, action will be taken on the school management.

Any potential direct hit from Jose wouldn't be until next week, however. Other forecasts, however, say the storm could directly impact the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts.

"We will continue to monitor the system closely".

"Until Jose is farther along on its loop, the models are likely to have large errors", said Weather Underground meteorologist Jeff Masters, according to USA Today.

The agency accused the US of being the "chieftain of aggression and war and wrecker of peace". "Enough is enough", she said. The White House stressed the USA and Chinese leaders' joint commitment to ridding the Korean Peninsula of nuclear weapons.

At its peak the storm prompted evacuation orders for 6.5 million people in Florida, the largest evacuation in modern US history. It's complicated. GFS ensembles fail to paint a clear picture, though it's worth noting that some members do bring Jose close enough for impacts to be felt along the United States east coast.

"The models aren't great with resolving cold wakes", said Phil Klotzbach, a hurricane researcher at Colorado State University. "The sunny start to the week will end generally cloudy".

Northern Leewards now on alert for Hurricane Jose
Irma continues to roar through the Caribbean packing catastrophic winds and will continue to do so for the next several days. Hurricane activity tends to drop off by early October, but it's possible to get a storm in November, Klotzbach said.
