"The neo-Nazis and white supremacists came wearing helmets and bringing clubs, and the violence started...and this driver, who has been charged, injured 20 and killed this lovely young woman and it is unbelievably sad".

The rally, which caused chaos and fatalities in Charlottesville, has become the talk of town especially after the 45 president of the United States's delayed statement about the issue indicated how his belief that both sides are to blame amid the chaos, per a report from CNN. "No! There are no fine people marching with Nazis and white supremacists", Meyers exclaimed. It's unbelievable he's only feeling queasy now, since those white supremacists were there all along, shouting their support for Trump during what felt like an endless campaign season. "What happened over the weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, was just disgusting".

On Monday evening, NBC late-night host Seth Meyers commented on that silence with a stern statement - not good enough. The Late Night host called Trump's excuse that these people "had a permit" while the counter protesters did not to be "twisted logic". "Oh, the Nazis had a permit?". "Well f- me, I'm sorry". "The whole thing is such a bummer because Nazis were like the last thing we all agreed on", Meyers added.

Kimmel ended his rant by offering Trump supporters a way out: "You can do one of two things". The comedian chose to treat Trump like a loveable scamp, instead of a vocally racist xenophobe and misogynist. I'll let you decide yes for yourself.

Meyers didn't buy Trump's excuse for why he took so long to condemn white supremacists after Charlottesville.

Shame and disbelief were recurring themes on late-night shows the past two nights, as the hosts hurled words at Trump as if they were disgusted editorial writers. Furthermore Meyers puts Trump's response in context with everything else we've seen from him on the topic of race, from the birther movement on.
