Woman killed in Indian firing across LoC, says ISPR

Pakistan's Foreign Office summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner on Tuesday over ceasefire violations by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC), ARY News reported.

In the incident, an Indian soldier identified as Narendra Singh Bisht received a sniper injury in his head and has been airlifted to Army's 92 base hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment where his condition is critical. The injured jawan was taken under medical care.

Yesterday, an Army jawan was injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the LoC in the Uri sector of Baramulla district.

The Foreign Ministry said "Indian occupation forces" fired along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir region's Khuiratta and Karela Sector on August 7, resulting in the killing of a 35-year old woman, Munira Bibi in Karela Sector and injury to another woman, Farena Bibi in Khuiratta Sector.
