Page County Sheriff’s Office receives state grant
The Page County Sheriff’s Office received a 2013 Selective Enforcement-Alcohol Grant from the Department of Motor Vehicles for $10,100.
Grant funding will provide the Page County citizens with approximately 250 hours of law enforcement overtime. This overtime will be conducted during saturated patrols and check points that will target alcohol enforcement. In addition, the Page County Sheriff’s Office was approved to purchase one radar unit and two alco-sensors.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office received a 2013 Selective Enforcement-Speed Grant from the Department of Motor Vehicles for $3,000.00. Grant funding will provide the Page County citizens with approximately 103 hours of law enforcement overtime. This overtime will be conducted during saturated patrols that will target speed enforcement.
