Sandy: Rain, wind here, with more on the way
The Luray-Page area is under a high-wind warning through 8 p.m. Tuesday as the remnants of Hurricane Sandy move inland in the Mid-Atlantic.
The latest weather forecast from EmergencyEmail.org has the region being deluged for much of the next 48 hours. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain are possible through Tuesday night, with sustained winds between 30 and 36 mph and gusts as high as 55 mph.
Sandy will finally move out of the area by Wednesday, while it will still be windy that day with a slight chance of showers.
